Guildhall was commissioned to design and manage an asset and liability management workshop at a client conference in Karuizawa hosted by the Tokyo office of one of the major Wall Street investment banks.
The workshop was attended by senior financial managers from major Japanese corporations who spent an afternoon and evening working in teams simulating the use of over-the-counter derivatives to manage the interest rate risk profile of a fictitious company.
The workshop was supported by purpose-built software written by Guildhall using Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic.
